Better late than never?
So I’m a year older, and the lunar new year happened to coincide with my birthday again this year. 😉
I usually do an introspective post but I’ve been fighting something off the last few weeks, which ultimately culminated in what is very likely the flu a couple of days ago. Fever was way worse this time, 102.8 at urgent care and it took a while to get my fever down. No fun. I don’t remember the flu being quite that bad right off the bat when I had it 8 years ago.
This time instead of curling up in my bed waiting for the end to come (yes it’s just me being melodramatic… the flu feels like you are at death’s door) DH took care of me which was nice. I got lots of puppy snuggles, because Kuma is a little Tifa who loves snuggling and purring. Apparently when you have a Rottweiler raise Akitas, Akitas can learn how to purr as well. (It’s so adorable). ❤️
The weather has been all over the place which hasn’t helped me at all. Yesterday it snowed and today the sun is shining and it’s all melting into mud…. that the boys will track into the house, no matter how well we wipe their paws.
I won’t say I hope this is the last illness for a while, because I don’t want to jinx myself… but there you go.
